Bob Clarke is the owner of Clarke's Automotive Systems and a better man it is hard to find. He was always completely honest and professional. From the first time I set foot in the place I never had the feeling like I get when I enter the Dealer's service department. You know that feeling, its the I-just-hope-I-can-afford-bus-fare-home-after-these- guys-take-me-to-the-cleaners feeling. Clarke's performed scheduled maintenance on my Integra, and my wife's Mazda. The shop would give her a lift back to work if she had to get back there while they worked on the car. Extremely courteous staff and a desire to excel is evident. Bob is a Christian and obviously puts his faith into practice in his work. He was always honest with us and would advise us on what maintenance we needed and and could afford to wait on. WE have since moved and am looking for a mechanic half as good in California. Count yourself lucky if you have the opportunity to have him for a mechanic. HIs shop is one of the things I miss most about Florida. And believe it or not, I wasn't even paid to write this.

Outstanding service, price, convenience. They treat everyone with respect. I started using Bob because of a cheapo coupon in my church paper and have thanked God ever since. I personally saw them refer an elderly customer back to the dealership because her repair was still covered under her warranty and charge her only $10 for their diagnostic time. I am moving about 35 miles away and I am deeply torn about whether to keep coming to Bob or to find another mechanic. Few mechanics inspire this kind of loyalty, but Bob is one of them.

Went to them based upon the recommendations/comments that I read here, and was not disappointed! I went because I suddenly experienced a problem with the exhaust system. Turned out that the catalytic converter blew, (105K+ miles on a 2001 PT Cruiser, so not a big surprise), and they also discovered, (and showed me and my husband), two broken motor mounts out of the three, as well as provided general service that the vehicle really needed pretty badly, like fluids, etc., that I just hadn't gotten around to ever having done. I not only will be back to Clarke, but have already been recommending them to others. For a nominal investment, I will get a lot more miles outta my little guy!

Trustworthy. Will let U know if something really doesn't need to be replaced. Hours are really convenient

We've used Clarke for several years and have always been very pleased. I've even towed a car over 200 miles back home because I knew MY mechanic (Clarke) would do the job right and not overcharge me. On our first visit, my Taurus was having transmission trouble. The dealer charged me $100 to tell me that there really was a problem and it would be another $300 to find out what it was specifically, and it would probably be over $1000 to repair. I went to Clarke, and in an hour they called to say it was a $120 electronic module, and if I approved the repair, it would be ready in an hour. I was expecting to pay alot more. We've been happy customers ever since!

Took the time to correctly diagnose my air conditioner problem as opposed to the dealer who just said that the compressor was shot. The end result was a cost of 2/3 of the dealer estimate.

The owner, Bob Clarke, is onsite and involved. They give an honest assessment and quote and the work was done in a professional manner.
