I have had them work on my cars, my mother's cars, my kid's cars, my husband's truck and car -- they always do first- class work, and they're always very pleasant and friendly. When I was out of town, I called Troy, the owner, to tell him about a problem I was having. He told me I should get it fixed where I was (it was a brake problem), rather than take the chance of driving all the way home, and warned me that I would pay more in Naples than in Alachua, but should still get it done. He was right! I would trust him to the ends of the earth with my car, and as a feminist lawyer, I promise you I AM sensitive to how I am treated! And BTW -- I LOVE your column! I so admire people who have real knowledge about what they do -- you guys are tops! Now, I hope I can find a mechanic for my daughter, where she lives, in the other part of your site...wish me luck! --Kathleen

Troy and Alan are friendly and easy to work with. They did the front end work on my '98 Passat in a very timely manner and at a reasonable cost. Now it drives like a new car.
