These guys are great. I have used them for many years - three different cars. I feel that my cars have lasted longer than any before because of them.

We have used Ponte's for the last 4 years. They work on our Nissan, Saturn and Miata. We have never had an incomplete repair. They are honest, and timely and just plain nice to work with. In addition, they offer an annual discount card and work with us to maximize the discounts. They also send a newsletter with tips for driving and maintenance. They are fantastic!! And I don't think I've ever said that about any other car repair shop.

I moved to this area a few years ago and had been looking for a new mechanic (had been using the dealer for oil changes). I took my 2006 Scion to this shop for an oil change and a much-needed brake job. After giving me the estimate for those two items, they tried to sell me on several other items - including a system flush which they said I needed because I didn't have regular oil changes. When I told them I have the oil changed religiously every 3000 miles, they said, "Oh, OK". When I came to pick up the vehicle at the end of the day, the amount due was not the same as what I had been told it would be earlier in the day, to which they replied I'd obviously made a "math error" when I was adding it up in my head and had left out some charges. In total, I paid about $550 for rear brakes and an oil change, which I have since been told by two other mechanics was excessive. Thankfully, I was able to have my brakes fixed, but I will never return to this business again.

This shop is close to my neighborhood so I really wanted to use them. However, every time I have an oil change they find some other big job that I need. Two years ago they told me my battery was bad. I drove it for the whole time with never a hesitation in starting up. Then it was my tires thatneeded to be replaced. Since their price was so high I went to a Firestone dealer who told me I had plenty of tread and they didn't need to be changed. The last time I had my oil changed was about a month ago. They noted that my brake and transmission fluid are dirty. My friend just checked them both and they looked like they had just been changed. The only problem he found was that my oil was 1/2 quart low??? Just had it changed at Ponte's and there are no leaks and it doesn't burn oil. I won't be going back
