I began taking my M-B's to Ezio almost 20 years ago after he was recommended to me by a very discerning long-time customer. Ezio is exceptionally knowledgeable of everything from the oldest diesel to the 600's. He seems to remember details of repairs he might have made years before and knows all of his many customers well. I like to do minor work myself and, on two occasions when I wanted him to do something he didn't have time to do, he said that I could do them myself, he would show me how and which parts were defective (no charge, of course). I think everyone who uses his services has similar tales. I have heard many. I won't make negative comments about other M-B service in this area, but suffice it to say that I know what is available and I would never own an M-B here if Ezio were not in business. Count yourself lucky if he'll accept you as a customer.

Ezio is usually very busy and may sometimes decline new customers, but, in my opinion, he's simply the most knowledgeable M-B tech. in the area. I could give examples of his honesty and competence in servicing my cars, but, suffice-it to say, I have always been happy with the results. He does only what's necessary and appropriate. I've never heard him try to sell the unnecessary nonsense that dealerships and some other shops try to push onto ignorant customers (victims). I've been there when customers stop by simply to say "hello". I suspect that he doesn't know what to do with all the Christmas gifts! Have you ever seen anyone bringing Christmas gifts to a dealership's "service" dept.?

  • K's Service
I've known Ezio both personally and professionally for over 45 years. I do most of the service work on my cars, but when there is something that needs to be done (or I want to have done) on one of our Mercedes that is beyond my capability (or desire to do it!)I ALWAYS take it to Ezio's Car Care. Their work is excellent, they know this model of car extremely well (as well as Ferrari's and Rolls Royces' - essentially the only three models they service). AND, equally if not more important to me is that if something can be repaired, they will recommend that and do it if the owner wants that type of service. I truly believe that at most - if not all - MB dealerships the first thing a mechanic does is decide which parts to REPLACE. There, the thought of repair (e.g. replace a bushing, rather than the whole part in which the bushing is held) is not considered. Being 'old school' in many ways, I like both the concept and cost advantage of repair (when appropriate) rather than just throwing new parts at the car. I'm confident you TOO will like Ezio's Car Care - just don't be put off by the appearance when you walk in!! G---
