Bob is very honest. His rates may not be the cheapest, but he is very competent and has competent guys working for him. We had one odd problem with one of our Nissans. It took a few visits, but Bob got it straightened out. The final solution required a new throttle body, which Bob installed for free due to the trouble associated with identifying the cause of the problem (we paid for the parts). He will definitely work with you to keep you satisfied.

My father started taking his diesel VW Rabbit to Bob more than 25 years ago. I wouldn't trust my cars to anyone else. Bob and his staff take the time to explain the repairs made to the vehicle. They call if the repair goes beyond the scope of what was originally discussed. The shop and the new waiting area are clean and orderly. My 2001 diesel Jetta has 200k, and Bob assures me that it has a lot of good years left.

I wish I lived closer to these guys. I'm in Washington, DC, and my mechanic (though I really like him) is very expensive. I was in Wilmington and needed repairs twice on my car. Both times everything was fine, and the price was right. Bob, who I believe is the shop's owner, took the time to explain all the details of the repairs. The shop is incredibly clean which reflects for me very positively on their work. In the waiting room I met a customer who has used this shop for decades. The next time I need something fixed on my Highlander, I think I may take a trip to Wilmington.

I have never had a better experience at a shop. I don't think I have ever had a better customer service experience in my life. I called Bob because my wife's car was making some noises that I couldn't figure out. He was very busy, and couldn't work on it that day, but asked me if I could bring it by anyway just so he could be sure it was safe to drive until he could get me in. I came by and he took a ride with me and assured me that I would be fine until my appointment. After I dropped the car off, he quickly diagnosed the problem, and referred me over to another shop to have an alignment done. Because the issue may/may not have been caused by work previously performed at another shop, I had a LOT of questions. He was extremely thorough and explained everything. I promise, if I am physically able to get to his shop I wouldn't consider going anywhere else.
