I have found them to be completely honest. A few years ago, it was on the fourth trip into the shop (all for different problems with an old, tired car)before they would replace the brakes, because there was always more life left in the old ones and they didn't want to waste my money.

These guys are absolutely fabulous. They listen to, test
out and respond to every reported problem with a straight
face ("funny, tinny rattle under the hood" or "strange noise
in the back when I make a right turn") and without charge.
The one time I had a problem with their service (hey, we all
make mistakes), they sent someone out after hours to pick up
the car and fix the problem, without charging me -- plus, my
next oil change and "tinny rattle under the hood" problem
were on the house! Frankly, when I realized there was a
problem with the service they had just completed, I was SO
RELIEVED that Murray Brothers had done the work, because I
knew they would stand behind it 1000%. And they did.
The setting is great, with a wonderful porch to sit on and
absorb the morning sun -- plus, you have a great view of the
turkey vultures visiting the town dump across the road.
Other amenities include wireless internet access, which they
don't advertise and even a loaner (although it's a pretty
beat up one). No stupid TV tuned to the talk shows, either
-- I hate those things.
We have previously used Parsells in Southbury for our
Pontiac, Devan Acura in Norwalk for our Integra GSR (before
it got solen while in their possession) and the Subaru
dealers in Danbury (Colonial Subaru) and Watertown (County
Line Subaru), and none of them holds a candle to Murray
Brothers.
I would heartily recommend them for any and all vehicles,
including foreign cars like my Subaru. Because these guys
race and tune their own cars, they have an in-depth
knowledge that I have not found in any other garage in the
four states I've lived in during my 30 years behind the
wheel.

This shop is willing to work (repeatedly) on hopelessly
shot British sportscars. This makes them #1 in our book
(in addition to hometown customer service and reasonable
prices of course).

Your questions cover just about everything. They are a
very responsible and dedicated firm. Good coffee while you
wait.

I first started using Murray Brothers on the recommendation
of a neighbor. I had always taken my vehicle into the Chevy
Dealership where I had purchased it along with an extended
warranty, but after having trouble getting the dealership
to honor the warranty and having to contact GM Headquarters
to get the issues resolved I vowed never to set foot into
that dealership again. I began to inquire of others in town
as to where they have their vehicles serviced and decided
to try Murray Brothers. I have never been disappointed.
They are very honest and most accomodating. As a female I
feel very comfortable with their diagnosis of my car's
problem as they take the time to answer my questions and
explain the problem.

Both my son and I enjoy going to the shop because they seem
to have interesting cars in the shop, cool pictures on the
wall, and an interesting waiting room.

This is the only garage where I've felt 100% comfortable as
a woman customer. Car dealerships are fine when you're
under warranty, but these guys really take the time to know
my car and me -- and that kind of caring customer service is
invaluable.
