First came across this auto repair place when I needed emergency service on a Saturday whn everyone else was closed. My experience with Larry's was such that they have become my regular auto repair place on any day of the week. Larry, the owner, is knowledgeable and talks human to a auto dunce like me. The one time when the results of his work came into question, (brakes sounded funny after he installed new pads), he fixed it immediately, without hassle or charge. I trust him not to take advantage of my automotive ignorance.

Put in new brakes/rotors. Brakes were much too sensitive. Brought it back and he drove it and said they were fine. They were not.

I've been going to Larry since I moved here 12yrs ago. He has been exceptional and has gone above and beyond in many areas.i have bought two cars from his brother for my wife, and am buying another one Monday from him Monday,as my chrysler, after an oil fire which happened because I did not get the tranny leak fixed (money issues) as Larry had STRONGLY suggested I do,in time. After fixing the car, there is too many electrical issues, after putting in a whole electrical harness.time to put my 17 year old car with 193000 miles on it to rest.the motor runs like new,the body is a rust bucket,so I am happy to let it go. I learned thattranny fluid will burst into flames at only 300degrees or something,I forget the exact temp now. As for reviewer #1above,I have done over 100brake jobs 32 years ago when I was in auto school and my dad had a taxi co. ,to offer that he was used to his squishy pedal when his pads were worn, and probably low on brake fluid, that when he was given a high and hard pedal, like he should have,he was not used to it.Larry did no wrong. Thank you,Jeff Furlong

Larry appeared knowledgable, but claimed the fill plug on my transmission was frozen and so would have to remove the pan apply a torche to get it off. I towed it to my own mechanic 40 miles away (his garage was within a 5mile tow of where the transmission failed) and his experience was there was no problem with the fill plug! It would seem that Larry is either incompetent or dishonest.
