My wife and I have been using Angelo's Foreign Car Service for 2 years. In addition to routine maintenance, Angelo has done brakes and a head gasket replacement on our 2000 Subaru Outback Wagon. The head gasket replacement was done at half the cost of what the dealership service dept. jokers wanted !! All work is done on time and without hassles. The fun part is that Angelo calls me immediately whenever he and his assistant are able to snag the cute kittens from the feral momcat who keeps getting pregnant in the yard behind his shop. We find them all good homes, and are trying to catch the momma to her her neutered. In the meantime, a free kitten with every major tune-up !!

When I first moved from NY to Connecticut,This car shop had put a flyer under my windshield wiper. When the owner had heard his brother put a flyer,on a NY licensed car,for a Connecticut repair shop,he questioned his brother's sanity.I had a Volvo then and a Subaru now.5 years later Angelo's Foreign car does all my repairs including my recommendations to my friends.

Small shop, no waiting area. Very nice people. I take both my Volvo and Subaru there. Always pleasant, gives me a ride home or to the train. Reasonably priced, and doesn't seem to "make up" stuff to fix, but tells me what's up. "that can go another 6 months or so"..."We should look at that again in the Fall", etc.

Angelo used to work as service manager at Subaru dealer in Stamford. He quit due to dishonest way do doing business at the dealership. This is something I saw as well and quit going there for that reason. Dealership now out of business. Angelo was referred to me by a friend, and recognized him when I saw him. He's the mechanic I always wanted. He's a person! to people! And perhaps a bit too forgiving to the customer. I want him to be around a long time and wish he was a better business man to enable him to make a bit more money so he WILL be around. So, Mr. and Mrs. customer, don't take advantage of him because you may screw up a great thing. Be as fair to him as he is to you. PS I'm NOT a friend of his. I'm 20+ years older than he is and move in different circles.

For the past 13 years Angelo has serviced my cars and my wifes cars. He is honest, knowledgeable and very fairly priced. He has kept my cars running and safe. After 13 years the only valid criticism I would have of Angelo is that he is not as funny as Click and Clack! I highly recommend Angelo's Foreign Car Service.

Angelo is great. He is fair and competent. He has serviced my Volvo and my Subaru for years. He treats me well and is open about when something is better taken to the dealer. He saved me a bunch by noticing some things to have taken car of just before my warranty ran out. He doesn't try to make up stuff to do, but will tell yout to "keep an eye" on something, or when "we'll need to take care of that in about 3 months", etc. No waiting room, but very flexible with late/early drop off, ride home, ride to work, etc.

Angelo was the service supervisor at Stamford Subaru in 1995 when we bought a '95 Subaru Legacy wagon from that dealer. We had it serviced there on warranty. Dealing with Angelo was always pleasant and we developed a great trust in his judgement on repairs. He never tried to sell us something that was not needed, letting us know if something could wait several months or more. When we found he had moved out on his own to a shop in Norwalk, we followed him and have had our Subarus & Hondas serviced by him and his crew. We have always been happy with the results. His service is reasonable, helpful, honest and competent.

My wife and I have been using Angelo's Foreign Car Service for 12 years on various cars including Toyota, Subaru, Lincoln and Honda. In addition to routine maintenance, Angelo has done major repairs such as a head gasket replacement, A/C repair, brakes as well as routine major and minor tune-ups. All work is done at a very fair price, on time and without hassles. Angelo is honest, easy-going, and has a great sense of humor. Highly recommended!!
