This shop is GREAT. Joe (the dad), Pat (Joe's son) and crew are as honest as the day is long. We, my wife and I, have been taking our cars to Joe's for nearly 10 years and they have always treated us right. They use genuine factory parts and stand behind their work 100% of the time. They have never fished around for extra repairs and have even gone as far as to suggest that certain requested repairs are currently unnecessary. (They must not have a boat!) I was reluctant to fill out this survey for fear that my secret little shop would become so popular that Joe & Company would go national and become the Emeril Lagasse of the Auto Repair Market, leaving me no other option but to return to the service department of my local auto dealer; ugh! However, they do such great work that I felt that the rest of the world (or at least Metro-Hartford, CT) should benefit from their good work.

I first discovered Joe's around 1974. He (and later, his
sons) have made it possible for me to put well over 150,000
miles on the odometers of each of the following cars: two
Triumph Spitfires; a Pinto; VW Rabbit; Olds Cutlass; Mazda
RX7; and two Saturns. I have recommended them to scores of
people and have never heard of anyone being disappointed
with their work or their treatment of people as customers.
The Cassones are all great mechnics and wonderful human beings.

Pat and Frank have been working on my cars for the past
five years and I have to say that they provide top notch
service. I get a straight, clear answer to my questions,
what I think is a good price and it all comes with a
friendly handshake. If my wife stops by to drop off the
car she gets the same explanation and courtesy. Pat has
more than once told me to contact the dealer about a
problem being under warranty, giving up the work and saving
me money.
