At one point i was trying to sell my little 1998 plymouth neon peacemobile about 4 years ago. A hispanic guy was interested in buying it and he wanted to bring it to his mechanic. i agreed and that is where i first met JJ Jenner. I watched how he expertly looked over the car and told this guy things i never knew about my car. The guy didnt buy my car and some time later it needed brake work. i went to the local monroe muffler on whalley avenue for an estimate. This guy told me that my back brakes were leaking and that it would cost over 700 bucks to complete the brakes. he added a whole bunch of other seemingly unnecessary stuff. i smelled a rat and remembered JJ over in fair haven. i took my peacemobile there and he checked it out. he told me that the back brakes were not leaking ( he did a very specific check to make sure that the monroe muffler guy hadnt made a mistake due to condensation) he gave me an estimate of 140 dollars to fix my car. i agreed and he followed thru. since then he has been my trusted hispanic mechanic (he is from peru) All the hispanic folk take their cars to him and he is really a great guy, funny and flirtatious with women but completely honest. he has no tolerance for racism or sexism in any form so he rates 4 stars in my book.

I just went to this place for help putting my wipers on. Turns out there was something wrong with the driver side wiper rod. Not only did JJ and Arnie fix the rod but they looked under the hood and refilled all the fluids, showed me which fluid went where and how to do it myself, and then didn't even charge me labor. I was sadly unable to tip as I didn't have more money on me, but I wish I could have because not only did they do a great job, but JJ is extremely friendly and hilarious. Who would think going to get your car worked on could be fun? Highly recommend!!!! Will return anytime I need work on my car!

JJ and his crew are the bomb. Jj always makes me smile and when I leave I feel confident that my car is AOK. He named his shop after the World Trade buildings because he opened up in 2001 after the bombings. I recommend him highly. I came to him as a customer. I now consider him a friend.
