The Minnocci brothers are dedicated, experienced, and extremely competent mechanics who have provided Maserati-level service to my modest Mazda Protégé. After purchasing my vehicle from the local dealer I dutifully followed their prescribed maintenance schedule. But, with the lapse of several years, it became evident that this dealer was more interested in replacing my car than repairing it (the last straw was their recommendation of a brake job six months after they had performed this very service!), and I began to visit Europa Motors. My car has never run so well, and, in fact, Europa was able to resolve an alignment issue this week that the dealer's service department hadn't a clue about despite repeated requests from me. The Minnoccis' operation is Spartan and efficient: they work alone without a receptionist in an industrial area on Dixwell Avenue. But the slightly remote location is more than compensated for by their fine work, and I highly recommend them.

Great guys, they really work with you to figure out unusual problems. I had a funny vibration in the car at a particular RPM, and their idea that it was the engine mount turned out to be right on. Also, I really enjoyed how they explain the details to you.

I am shocked by how polite and helpful they are. I am so happy I have them to turn to. Every time they work on my car, they get it better. It is a relief to know I can trust them.

I used to use these guys. I switched when Ray Fida retired from my previous garage, SKF. I liked that Europa was near to my home and they were Alfa enthusiasts. I think they generally did good work, although they were relatively expensive. One time I was there, Antonio told me that my Subaru needed tires (correct) and needed the brake rotors to be replaced or re-machined. I knew that the brakes were fine, so I took it back to SKF, now under new management, and found that there was nothing wrong with the brakes, as I thought. I haven't been back to Europa since. I was very happy with SKF until they went out of business. That's why I'm on this site now looking for a new shop again.
