Hamel's was recommended by word of mouth from a Bristol garage that could not do emissiontest and they were great. Polite, good price and fast....plus test results were sent to DMV! I'd go back there for other work!

I trust these guys....that saying a lot in this day and age, I've been having Hamelin and Sons work on my cars since 1990. If anyone has a problem with their car in the Greater Bristol area, I highly recommend Hamelins.

I was deployed to Afghanistan last year and while I was gone mice invaded my engine compartment. Mike and the guys took the time to find and explain the problems and get my car running properly again. They fixed a couple of things and put me back on the road for a while 'til the computer registered some new codes and I could come up with more boat payments. Anyway, they were recomended by my friend Danny's Mom, smart lady, and they have been great about estimates, timeliness, cleanliness, ect. My car now runs better than it ever did.

I'm a 25 year plus customer of Hamelin & Sons. I am a sales rep and when I was just starting out (and kinda poor) Mike and Dave kept my jalopies running for years at affordable rates. When my kids started driving, they kept a close eye on my cars and stayed one step ahead of my lead foot wife and teenage drivers. They are not cheap, but always reasonable. They know what they are doing and always take the time to explain all work necessary and how it was performed. I've never had a call back. I really enjoy your radio show and try to listen every Saturday.I look forward to guessing the answers to repair problems. Since I often (not always) agree with you, my wife thinks I'm a car genius (with poor radio taste). Thanks for a GREAT, informative show !!! Gordon Erling, Bristol, CT.

I brought the shop my Subaru Forester and Mike took the time to explain all of my repair options and did not charge me for the diagnostic work he completed. Based on the conversation I had with him it is apparent they are very focused on customer service. I highly recommend Hamelin and Sons for auto repairs.
