It's 2010 -- the economy is in the tank. We took our car into Woodmoor Conoco because there was massive smoke and leaking oil. It was after the mechanics' hours, so left the car, with the understanding that the mechanic would call the next day after taking a look at the situation. Mechanic called 1st thing in the morning, suggested what the problem was, and gave an estimate of about 100.00. Car was done ahead of schedule, and bill was half of what was estimated. When asked if the problem was not the same as intitally diagnosed, the mechanic said that it was, but that it didn't take him as long to fix it as he had estimated. Imagine our delight in today's economy, when a person could have made twice as much money off of us, but was honest and forthright. This guy is our new best friend :) :)

Have taken my ride to Scott several times, and he is professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Repairs, although nothing real serious, have been good and priced fairly.

They overfilled my crankcase by a bunch, couldn't get to it to drain the excess in a timely manner and I had to do it. Overfilling the crankcase is potentially an engine wrecker. They left a couple greasy black boot prints on my carpet mat and then put down a paper one after the fact. They left it unlocked at night with the attendant not present to watch it. I really feel uncomfortable going back or recommending them to anyone. Not only because of the sloppy work ethics but because I'm not confident they're honest. They might be but I'm not convinced.
