I had taken a vehicle there for a second quote on a costly repair that the dealership said I had to have immediately. I found out from Metric Motors that I didn't need the repair at all, which saved me hundreds of dollars. Metric Motors is a place I would recommend to anyone with a foreign car. They are fairly priced, honest, and do quality work. My only regret is that they don't work on American vehicles.

I must say that out of all the mechanics I have every known in a
variety of locations working on a varied assortment of vehicles,
there are the best mechanics I have ever used. They are honest to
a fault, competent, friendly, very easy to talk with if you are a
woman and a lot of fun. As a single woman, sometimes I find that I
need to borrow a man to assist me in auto repairs because the
mechanic assumes that I am a complete automotive idiot based on
my sex alone (not true) and never, I repeat NEVER did the
gentlemen at Metric every BS me about anything my car needed or
didn't need. Merrit and Mark especially are great to work with and I
highly recommend them to anyone in that area needing an host
mechanic. In fact, when I left Loveland and moved to Boulder, I still
took my car to them.
Losing them as my mechanics when I left Colorado was a sad day
indeed.

We have had this mechanic (shop) work my Subaru Legacy.
They have performed not only regular ongoing scheduled
maintenance, but also when repairs were needed.
They have always been EXTREMELY honest, sometimes not
doing work as it was not fully needed, or could be left
until a later time.
A number of times they have checked out a problem or noise
for me and never charged me for their time or effort.
While their prices are not discount, they are fair for the
work performed, and I feel that my cars have lasted much
longer due to their expertise and commitment to excellence.

The repair on my '99 Forester was timely and performed
correctly the first time. They are very helpful with advice
for the DIY mechanic. The also have the BEST coffee ever
offered in a repair shop!

These guys are really top notch. They've serviced both of
my vehicles a total of 4 times. Each time the quote is
accurate, the service timely and well executed, and the cost
reasonable. They've even talked me OUT of expensive repairs
I mistakenly thought my cars needed. Immeasurably better
than the two local Nissan dealerships I've used in the past.

I recently had to move away from Northern Colorado and have missed this shop more than ever!! I used to take my Jeep, GMC, and Honda to this shop and had the best customer service and loved the fact that I could always trust them to be honest and fair with their recommendations, especially being a young female - they never took advantage of that. The staff is friendly and the shop is always clean (with free food goodies in the fridge or fresh baked cookies). I loved taking advantage of their free loaner car and I would always be surprised at the other makes and models that these guys are capable of diagnosing/repairing - sometimes I would see Subarus, Audis, and BMWs, other times it would be Fords, Chevys, Dodges, and Mercedes-Benzs. I appreciate this shop more than ever now knowing what dealing with other shops are like. Not to mention the outstanding warranty and clean bathroom!! Dan has done a wonderful job with this shop and I'm glad I found them.
