John and my father, John Pollock conspired for years to keep a '66 Dart and '65 Valent going. He is an outstanding person and auto doc.

John is great. I have complete confidence in his honesty and competence as a mechanic. He takes time to explain problems and discuss your options. On occassion, he has even recommended taking the car another shop that could do the repair for less money. I moved away from area for a year, and John spent 15 minutes with me on the phone talking about ways to locate a good mechanic in my new town. Really helpful.

My wife, her mother and sister have all taken their cars to John at Sundog for many years. They know nothing about cars, but have been completely satisfied with they way they were treated. I know a fair bit about car repair, and I feel that John is competant, honest, and reasonably priced. He is courteous and polite. He stays open late enough that we can pick up a repaired car after work, and he transports my wife to and from the nearby light rail station if requested.

John is a terrific mechanic. He's smart, very helpful, and honest. He's helped me keep a car with 180k miles going. On a recent visit, I asked him how much more life he thought I could get out of the car. He wrote out a list of potential problem areas, and a week later, I even received a letter from him with more ideas for things to check in my records. He's great at trying to save money. On many occasions, he seems reluctant to do a repair that he doesn't think is necessary. I absolutely trust his opinion on cars.

I called John about a large truck repair. Although he didn't have the tools to fix it himself, he gave me a few recommendations of places to look. He was also able to let me know, off the top of his head, the particular problems I might face with my particular make and model. His professionalism and honesty were refreshing, and I am definitely giving him my business if anything goes wrong on my personal car!

John is the best mechanic in Denver. If everyone in this city of over a million people, every single person would seek his business. He provides detailed records of the diagnosis that he does and is truly looking out for his customers. He had to dig out a rat nest in the hood of my truck and trace all of the chewed wires that had disrupted various electical components in the car. I was updated the entire way through with honest feedback. The price was more than reasonable.
