Gary's Auto Service offers top-notch service on all makes of vehicles at very reasonable rates. The owner, Gary Roxbury, has an amazing knowledge base in all aspects of mechanical work. He is an honest businessman with a strong work ethic, and repairs his customers vehicles as if they were his own. He fixes what needs to be fixed and makes recommendations for other potential problems, but does not waste time and your money by performing needless adjustments or phony repairs. You can count on him to give you an honest estimate and outstanding service at a great price. He is also a very caring businessman who values his employees and his community. He works with a local charity repairing and restoring donated vehicles at no charge, so you can feel good about supporting him with your repair dollars. You won't find better.

I caught Gary a couple hours before they were closing up on a Saturday with an coolant leak that had just developed and was getting worse. The guys at the shop took my car right away and fixed it in no time. Every time I go in to his shop I always enjoy talking to Gary as well - he is well-educated, articulate and just a stand up kind of guy.

Gary has helped fixed several of our cars over the years. He's bright, honest, funny, and treats my 90 year old mother with the same honesty and respect that he gives my car-wise husband.

What a great neighborhood shop. When you call you speak to Gary himself. He's friendly and takes the time to explain what going on. He told me, "There's lots of shops that do good work, I think people appreciate that we're honest". I agree.

Gary's Auto Service is a respectable auto shop. They fixed my car quickly, were very friendly, honest, and helpful. I definitely recommend them. I'm glad that I have a trustworthy auto shop that moved around the corner.

I've been taking my cars to Gary's for years, both at the old location on Alameda and the new shop that they moved to at 1216 Santa Fe Drive in Denver. They are extremely honest, do great work, don't try to sell you things you don't need, and most importantly, they are good guys. There has been no turn over of mechanics in the 12 years I have been using the shop, which I think is a good sign. The atmosphere is great for women and men customers alike, (it's a little like stopping by the barbershop or an old style country a good way. I recommend this shop without reservation!!!!

These guys are upfront and honest. They're looking to do honest repairs for people and not make a quick buck. My first interaction with them was pleasant and awesome; they are my Colorado mechanic of choice now.

This is an honest shop. They work on all sorts of cars and trucks and take the time to explain problems and solutions. The mechanics are very hardworking and knowledgeable. Prices are reasonable, and they stand behind their work. The former owner, Gary Roxbury, wanted to "slow down", so Dan Shannon owns the shop now. If anything, service has gotten better, and all of the mechanics have remained. I've been taking my cars there for years, and It's the best place in Denver! In July, Gary's moved to 1216 Santa Fe Drive, which is close to downtown (and more convenient for me). I believe that you need to develop a relationship with your mechanic that's built on (mutual) trust and respect...and I've found it at Gary's. Is that old fashioned? I don't think so....

Dan took over after Gary retired last year, and if anything, the shop has gotten better. This shop is the best in Denver for a lot of reasons. Number one: Honesty. They simply refuse to sell you something that you don't need. Number two: Nobody likes to pay for auto repairs. Given this, Gary's is the bet value in town. They don't try to be the absolute cheapest place in Denver but their prices are very, very, reasonable, and Gary's offers great value. Number three: They are very friendly and explain the problems and repairs that they recommend completely, and treat my wife as respectfully as they treat me. I've had many repairs done over the years, including a recent total engine replacement done in 1996 Toyota 4 Runner, (I'm in love with that truck!) and I can honestly say that I have come away well satisfied each and every time.
