John Senter, the owner of John Senter Tire & Service Center, is a friendly man who is almost always at his business. He is one of the most kind and courteous men that I have ever met. Years ago I heard that he had a partner that took "him for a ride" financially, and John reluctantly had to file for bankruptcy to the tune of over a million dollars. Gradually John got "back on his feet" financially and paid back every penny that he owed to every one of the former creditors! I have confirmed this story with John himself. My family and I have taken our vehicles to John for many many years. I trust him like I trust my own family doctor! If a mistake is made, it is always corrected--at no additional cost. It is my pleasure to recommend a mechanic's shop like John Senter Tire & Services!

They have never tried to sell me something and at times
have told me that I do not need the repairs that I thought
I did. While there might be cheaper places and more
costly places there are no better places. There have
worked on my GMC's, and my kids ford and toyota and they
have always been great to work with. - Greg

I have been using John Senter Tire for the past 4 years. I
was referred by a friend, like most of the other
customers. The service advisors treat me and my wife like
we are friends. They have always given me the straight
skinny on repairs. I have never found a place so honest,
sometimes too honest. Dennis (one of the service advisors)
have told me on several occasions that I can stretched out
some repairs even when I thought I really needed it.
They are not the cheapest compared to other independents
but they stand behiond their work and they are VERY
honest. And that means more to me and my wife. I have been
to cheap places that have ripped me off big time.
I would refer John Senter Tire to anyone I know.

I've useed their North Academy store for over 20 years for
all repairs and maintenance. They talk with you about your
car, your driving, sell good tires that fit your needs. On
the rare occassion when I've had to go back they quickly
and took care of the issue. I've owned Chevy's, Chryslers,
and now 2 Lexus cars that they take care of.

I've been going to this shop since for seven years. They've worked on my Toyota Tacoma (1998), Mazda 626 (1998) and Honda Pilot (2004). They are not the cheapest shop, but they are fairly priced. They've don't upsell or employ sales pressure tactics. The owner, John Senter, is in the shop regularly. He drives the shuttle if you ever need a ride to work. The desk employees (Dennis and Rob) have been the same guys my whole time as a customer. I find them competent but not always efficient. They don't always explain things well. Sometimes they just repeat what the mechanic said but can't subsequently answer follow-up questions. The shop is good at repairs and average at diagnostics. I have recommended the shop to several friends and family (two or three years ago), but lately have felt that the shop is more average than good.
