This place is great! I recently purchased a used 4Runner for a 2nd car and they looked the car over for me for free. When they finished, I didn't get a long laundry list with a huge repair price tag. Instead, they took the time to show me what issues they found. In addition, they helped me sift through which repairs were a safety concern and which ones weren't immediately necessary. I highly recommend this shop! Karin, Monument, CO

The guys at Japanese Connection consistently help us out with sound car repair and fiscal advice. They only repair as needed and at a reasonable price. In addition, they send out helpful reminders in the mail with respect to maintainence needs, oil changes and so on. They are also helpful in keeping us apraised as to the general condition of our vehicles and their long term care. We have taken our cars to them for years and always been satisfied. We recommend the to friends and family.

When you call with a problem and have good explanation of what the problem is then lots of time they can give a close idea of problem over phone and give good aprx estimate. Once while trying to install headlight on Nissan Pickup I ran into the problem of having to unlock the grill and put the grill back in and as usual I could not figure out how to do that. I called the shop and was advised bring it down and Craig took time out to go out and put back in and show how it was done at no charge even though it was a problem I created. I have been to several different shops in town and this is the place that I feel comfortable with and that they are not out to just to make money, really care for customers!!!

I took my 90 Nissan Sentra into the Japanese Connection to have the timing chain and water pump replaced. Kraig gave me a reasonable estimate for the work, then completed the job for less. He also replaced/repaired the worn seals and hoses in the area of repair. Repairs were professionally done on time. He took the time to talk me through what he did and showed me the worn parts he removed. Bottom line is that he fixed the problem the first time for the estimated price and on time, as promised. The car is working great now. I am a satisfied customer who will give him more of my business.

I was incredibly impressed with the level of service and competence at this shop. I am accostomed to having mechanics try to straight rip me off, and these guys simply don't. I went in expecting to have a CV joint replaced and concerned about my clutch. After checking both the joint and the clutch Kraig (GM) assured me that while the repairs I'd requested would need to be done eventually, it would be several thousand miles before the parts would actually need to be replaced. They checked the car thouroughly and identified a couple of minor problems they recomended I have fixed before taking a long trip. I was not charged at all for their time and the check-up. I told them to go ahead and make the little repairs and the work was completed by 2:00 the same afternoon. Bottom line, I will not take my car anywhere else and I'm recommending them to everyone I know that drives a Japanese import.

If you need your Subaru worked on whilst in Colorado Springs, you need to go to these guys. They're the tops. The whole gang - from Kraig to Chet to Jim to the rest, are true pro's. These squeezed me in to accomodate my lack of planning on a number of occassions, asking only for donuts in return. A gal can't beat that deal! Plus, they make the best coffee (free, gratis, on the house) while you wait. The restroom is spotless, too. And Kraig is the master host -- if you want to know what's up, about the car or about current events, he's there for you. What more can I say? Just this: don't miss a visit to their shop. It's an event in itself! Thanks, guys! Ciao!

I always like the way that Kraig explains what is wrong with my Rodeo.. He is knowlegable about the repair and I feel as a woman he explains things to me in terms I understand! I recommend the Japanese Connection to all of my co-workers and friends. Thank you! J.P.

We got their names off of the cars.com webpage and we took our Ford there to be looked at. Kraig and his team looked at the car and gave us an honest answer as to what was wrong and they did'nt even charge us for the diagnostic. We were impressed with his honesty and great customer service and will be taking our next car there for service.
