Dave and his other mechanics have been working on our Honda's and Nissan's for over five years. I have always been very pleased with their workmanship and prices. Dave has always been very honest and fair when giving estimates. I highly recommend this repair shop for Honda's and Nissan's. Ernie Michelfelder

I've been going to Accurate Japanese Repair since they opening in 1999/
2000. They are located downtown Colorado Springs. If you can't walk to
work, they will happily give you a ride. Dave and Paul (co-owners) often take
time to explain, or even show you… the problem and they don't talk down to
women.
A bunch of people at my office use Accurate…If you work downtown and own
a foriegn car (despite the name, they work on domestics too), this is the best
shop! -Cathy C.

Only been there once, but was very favorably impressed with
their honesty and professionalism. They recommended NOT
doing work that wasn't necessary, did the rest very quickly,
and got me on my way in about an hour for less than $100.
Being just 7 blocks from my office, I'll be back!

My girlfriend has been taking her Subaru to these guys for
10 years, and they have always done the right thing for the
right price. I recently took my Mazda in for a timing belt
change, and Dave recommended replacing the water pump at the
same time as preventative maintenance. We discussed the
exact location of the water pump (under the timing belt) and
the current mileage on the car, and I decided to go ahead and
do it. He estimated total cost at around $475.00; the final
bill was $489.00. Based on the service I have received from
the dealer where I purchased the car (noticeably declining
as my 2003 car ages), the prices they charge, and this
experience with Accurate Japanese Repair, I will never take
my car to the local dealer again. Dave and Accurate Japanese
get my business from now on, no question!

I recently had the privilege of searching for a mechanic to replace the clutch in my Wrangler. I called several places in town but didn’t get a “good vibe” or fair price from those places. So I decided to try out the CT Mechanics Board and am very glad I did. I called Accurate and spoke with Paul who was polite, upfront, willing to educate me, and quoted a very reasonable price for the repair. Everything along the way was seamless and professional. There weren’t any “surprise” calls in the middle of the repair telling me, “Hey, your frigalfracker is broken or the flux-capacitor needs replacing…. and it’s going to cost you (fill in the blank with something outrageous).” Actually, the repair was completed in a timely manner and cost me about $30 less than the price quoted! I met Dave, the other owner, and he was just as awesome as Paul. So far, no issues with my clutch repair. I highly recommend these clowns, I mean mechanics. Thanks Dave & Paul! I appreciate you Keeping it REAL!! I will be back.

I've been using Accurate Repair for 10 years, they've worked on every car I've ever owned and do terrific work. They're efficient, honest, and aren't out to charge for work that didn't really need to be performed! This is the only mechanic I go to and every friend or relative I've recommend go has been very happy.
