Charley is just an all round good mechanic and person. I have used him for about 6 years and have never been disappointed.

This shop works ONLY on Toyotas. I have only been there once (with great results); but that was on the basis of unbelievably positive, adulatory, ecstatic recommendations from others. I know people who are afraid to get a different make of used car because they won't be able to go to Charley's anymore.

Steve Baer, mechanic, is a master, in fact a "guru" of Landcruisers, old or new. Try him out. you'll be delighted.

technically the best mechanics that have ever worked on my truck. charley never had me waste money on things i didn't need (i have '86 and '90 toyota pickups). great service, never hesitates to help me out over the phone and help me fix it myself.

Went there the first time when I needed a new clutch; they
were the only one of 3 local shops to give me a reasonable
quote without an exorbitant fee for diagnosis. Did a great
job on the clutch. Took my truck there for regular oil
changes - better than the discount places and more likely
to spot problems. Also had the gear oils changed and had
an exhaust leak repaired - great work all 3 times. Happy
female customer.

Absolutely top notch. Have been going there for years, never
dissapointed, numerous times of him telling me how to do it
cheaper, or adjusting something no charge.

After fixing a major problem on my Sienna for about 1/5 of
what the local (and terrible) Toyota dealer was going to
charge, I then brought in my wife's RAV4. The oil pressure
had come on, although there was plenty of oil. When I
replaced the gauge (twice, even), that didn't help. So I
took it to Charley. He told what he suspected--a failed oil
pump or clogged line, and what it would take. With no
alternative, I gave him the go-ahead. Next morning he
called, with this for starters: "Are you sitting down?" The
stunner was that, after removing the valve cover and not
finding any problem with passages, the mechanic followed a
hunch and replaced the oil filter. Sure enough, that was it.
The anti-siphon valve in the filter had failed. Cost $140
rather than a much worse possibility. Thanks, Charlie's!

I have been taking my 88 Corolla FX to Charley's for five
years. They are amazing. Fast, reasonably priced,
interested in doing the job right. They've pointed me
elsewhere when they thought I could get a better deal. I
can't say enough good things about them. If you have a
Toyota you would be very foolish to not build a relationship
with these guys.
