The Auto Repair Place is managed by friendly knowledgeable
people. Their prices are reasonable, and while they will
tell you when things are wrong with your car, they will
also tell you the degree to which they are wrong: They'll
tell you if you need it replaced right away or if it can
wait, and if so, how long approximately. Also, I took my
Subaru in to have the locks fixed; one of the problems was
that when I put my key in the drivers' side lock, the key
would spin. They took it, worked on it, and when it was
done, they called me to pick it up. When I got there, I
found that they hadn't discovered that particular problem,
so I pointed it out. They fixed the problem before leaving
that day, didn't charge me any more money, and arranged for
me to pick it up over that weekend since they wouldn't be
there. These guys are great!

Great people to work with. I've taken three of my cars to
The Auto Place, and the work and service have always been
excellent.

The Auto Repair Place is simply fantastic. I've been taking
my cars there for four years now and have had no problems.
They are very up-front on what needs to be done and what can
wait, and will try and track down options for you on parts
to make things cheaper. Now, here's my story of how I
became a customer: I work nearby and was coming off a
7pm-7am shift. When I got to the parking lot (very tired) I
saw that I had a flat. There were no punctures that I could
see, so I figured I'd limp it over to the gas station and
fill the tire with air, but their pump ended up being
broken. Luckily The Auto Place was next door. I walked in
and explained the problem, and they said they'd take a look
and replace the tire. When I came back later that day, they
had refilled the tire and it showed no leaks (I still can't
explain how it went flat during the night, but I got four
new tires later), so they put it back on the car and didn't
charge me a dime. And on top of that they washed my car for
me! I've been a loyal customer ever since.

I took my Sentra here when I had a rough idling problem back when I was in college. They charged me around $400 to diagnose and replace the spark plugs as the problem, and then, not a day later, the problem was back. Apparently, it was my head gaskets, and I would not let them fix it because they were so incompetent, and I felt really taken advantage of (I am a young, 20-something woman). I think they really could have done a better job of seeing that I had no idea what I was doing, but instead, they took advantage of my inexperience with cars. Would not recommend to anyone, but especially not college-aged women.
