We are two women who drove from Oregon to Kings Beach in winter weather and had auto difficulties for much of the drive. By the time we arrived at our destination here, we had a pretty good idea about what was going on with the car. What we wanted from a mechanic was a diagnostic workup and a clear explanation of our options and estimated cost -- that's exactly what we got from Justin and Scott. Yes, it's tricky to find them (signage is pretty code-restricted in the community), but boy were we happy we did! Because they estimated a few hours to do the work, they gave us a ride back to Kings Beach, and then brought the car to us when they were done. And the best part was they never talked to us like we were morons (which we definitely are NOT). If you want straight-up guys who know their stuff, clearly explain your options, keep you informed of their progress, and charge you a reasonable fee for services, Justin and Scott are your guys. Plus, they've got the greatest "shop dog" in Bonnie -- woof!
