When my honda sedan was clocking 93K miles back in '96, I asked the elder Kaloci whether it was time for a timing belt change. He shrugged and suggested that I wait for another 10-12K miles! I've never felt that have ever overcharged for the service. Once my car was due for a major service plus some other parts needed to be replaced. When I dropped the car off they suggested that I only get one of the service done and I'd could get the other work done later since the total expense would have been a tad high. However at the end of the day they had completed both the work that had to be done (though inadvertently). Even though I could afford and offered to pay the entire amount, they refused!! They insisted that I pay half and pay the rest the next time I come in! I doubt I'll find more honest people in any profession.

Took my 99 Acura CL to them three times. They are prompt, patient and explain their work in as much details as you like. They call to check with you before making any part replacements. Always original Acura/Honda parts. They give honest suggestions and make it clear as to what your options are. Very pleasant to talk to. Unfortunately, I had to move out of sunnyvale just when I got to know them.

I took my Acura in for the 60k service before going on a cross-country drive. The service at Kaloci & Son was excellent. They did the job quickly and correctly the first time. When I came to pick up the car, I was given a detailed checklist of what had been serviced. I was also notified of items that had not been serviced but might be in need of repair/replacement in the near future. The price was certainly cheaper than the dealership, and I felt that they were always honest and candid in their answers to my questions.

I took my wife's '88 Honda Civic CRX-Si, a hot little bugger, to my old shop for routine service. They found a bunch of problems and estimated $3,000. A friend sent me to Kaloci. They checked the car, found some of the same problems, said the others found by the other shop were not serious, and found a couple of new problems, one a very serious brake problem (cracked front hoses) not found by the previous shop. It took a week to get parts, but they did all of the work for $1700 and apologized for the high price.

A coworker recommended Kaloci and Son when I purchased my 1992 Acura Integra. I used them for all repairs and services. After 13 years, I went in and for a repair and check up and but found out that there were many more things that needed work. It was old! They drew up a list of what things needed to be repaired immediately and what could wait and how long and how much each item would cost. They also said that the cost of repairing the car wasn't really worth it and that I should consider buying a new car. So, I bought a new Honda Accord mainly because I completely trust this repair shop and they only work on Hondas and Acuras. For comparison, a brake job on the Accord at the dealership cost $300. At Kaloci, $120. They are great!

These guys are the best - but they only work on Hondas and Acuras. They really take your interest to heart and won't do repairs you don't need.

These guys are great Honda/Acura mechanics. They're patient and confident in what they're doing. They're busy so reservations are always a must. It's a true blessing to find an honest mechanic. I'm becoming loyal to Hondas now because of Kolochi's service.
