Mark and Bill are the most competent and honenst mechanics I've ever met. I wish I would have met them before, I would have saved a lot of money and frustration.

Highly recommended! Ive been a customer for approximately 15 years. If you like good prices, honest estimates, knowledgeable work and genuine customer service, this is the place. Previously, I must have gone through 10 shops with half of all visits resulting in folks trying to sell me work I didnt need or me having to explain how to fix the problem. Oops! When was the last time you left with a smile after paying for a 4 wheel brake job? Feel free to e- mail me at petesemail@pobox.com.

Absolutely the best mechanics I have ever had! I have referred them to everyone I know (male and female) and have heard nothing but excellent feedback. They treat me and my friends like family - with honesty and respect. Bill only replaces what needs replacing at the time and is very thorough at explaining what I will need to replace in the near future so I don't have an unexpected baloon payment. Bill also provides rental cars at a substantially lower price than market to make repairs more convenient. Kaloci is the BEST!!!

Kaloci is an A+ mechanic - honest, respectful and knowledgeable. Their prices are extremely competitive too and they offer an Enterprise rental car at a great price. I strongly disagree with the customer who said they do not treat males & females equally - I referred my sister to Kaloci and during the last 2 years she has been as pleased as I am with their service. I would never even think of going to anyone else.

Had 60k service done. Was very pleased with Mark's enthusiastic explanation of what was done and found. One of the things he explained (after showing me what they were) was that the rear trailing arm bushings were starting to tear, but that they should not need to be replaced for quite some time. Most places I've been to would either pressure you to fix the problem immediately or not mention it at all. They also replaced a brake bulb for free and included the service option of changing the fuel filter for the price of the part (not overpriced either!).

They are great. I used to take my acura to Stevens Creek and Sunnyvale acura dealer for sevice. Big mistakes! Sevens Creek dealer sold me $120 fuel inject clean service when the car was only 7000 miles and at a time I have little car knowledge. And the sunnyvale acura dealer charged my wife $100 for battery and $80 for installing it, while the same thing is $80 for battery and installation is free. Before I sold my acura early this year, I had my wife bring the car to Kaloci's for some major work. Since my wife knows nothing about cars, I wrote down a list of work to be performed: flush and change all fluids and replace all braking pads regardless of the condition, among other things. The surprise is they refuse to flush the fluids since they are in good condition and they only changed the front brake pads despite I put down in writing ask them to change brake pads regardless of condition. I expected spending $500 on the service but end up paying only about $120. I told about this to the guy who bought the acura from me and recommend him to go to Kaloci for services in the future. But I have a feeling that he could not believe that there are honest guys out there like that who would insist on leaving money on the table. Two bad thing about Kaloci, one is so many people know about them now, it is hard to get early appointments. Second thing is they only work on honda/acura. I am in searching of an honest toyota/lexus mechanic, if I can't find one, I might have to go back to acura.

Bill Wada, the owner (no idea how the shop name came about) just loves Honda's and Acura's, and that is all they work on. My three year experience is that all work is professional and done on time. If you get regular maintenance there, they do lots of little things on their own to make sure the car is running well and safe. An example is that they will even check your wiper blades; once during an oil change they even aligned my fog lamps without a mention from me. Their prices are criminally low in my opinion; I hope Bill doesn't see this. Maybe I feel this way because I used to own a BMW before this Acura, and got used to paying San Francisco BMW dealer pricing with some serious dealer attitude. But not here. The only downsides: the shop is a bit un-pretentious in appearance, the street address can be a little tricky to locate the first time(multiple Evelyns in Sunnyvale), and good luck finding any public transportation nearby - quite typical for Silicon Valley. They do book up a few weeks in advance, so plan ahead and make sure to call that cab company ahead of time for pickup.

They are excellent. I have two cars (an Acura and a Honda) and they service both of them. Previously I used the dealer until a friend recommended Kaloci; their service is great and the price is significantly less than the dealer. They do a great job of explaining exactly what repairs you need. When I need to replace one of my current cars, I'd actually be inclined to buy another Honda or Acura so that I could keep them as mechanics!

I've got two cars, and the only complaint I've got about this shop is that I can't take my non-Honda car there. They consistently do great work, explain what they're doing, and avoid doing any unnecessary repairs.

I had regular maintenance and a timing belt changed at Kaloci and Sons. They have done a competent job, did it at 40% less than the dealership price, and spent time explaining in common english what was done. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience & recommend them to Honda owners.
