Bob is both honest and competent. Highly recommended.

My whole family uses Jensen's. They do excellent work. One day I was talking with a co-worker and we realized that she and her whole family also use Jensen's. Excellent work.

I had nothing but good experience at Jensen for the last 3
years. I had my (manual) transmission repaired last year
at 163K miles. After 11 months and 18K miles, the throw
out bearing broke, and they fixed it for free.

19 to 20 years ago the engine in my parent's new 1984
Volvo 240 turbo wagon overheated and had to be fixed. my
parents didn't know about Jenson's and took it to some
other shop (big mistake). The other shop had the car for
about a month just sitting in pieces on the shop floor, my
parents finally got fed up with the other shop and had the
car towed pieces and all to Jenson's where Bob (the brand
new owner/mechanic) fixed it up so well that we have taken
it back to him ever since. In fact I now drive that same
Volvo and it is still running smooth at 165,000 miles.
We also take my sisters 1992 Honda accord to them and that
is running great also.

I had the headgaskets on a 4runner go at 146000 miles. Bob
said the 4runner is a bear to get apart and put back
together so the labor was @ 14 hours. The heads were taken
somewhere for 300.00 and I had them do the timing chain at
the same time. He replaced the water-pump as well as it
looked like it was almost done. They seemed very
responsible, competent and knowledgeable so if you don't
mind 94.00 an hour for labor. All of the work was 2379.00

Despite the name, the shop is no longer owned by the
Jensens -- the current owner bought the shop from the
Jensens many years ago. That doesn't matter though -- the
new owners are very friendly, and take the time to explain
the repairs you need and why you need them. They won't try
to force you into something you don't need.
The best part is their pricing. I saved nearly 50%
compared to a Toyota Service Center, because Jensen's
doesn't double-bill on labor for parts that are right next
to each other! The pricing ends up being very reasonable.
All in all, I was very happy with my experience and intend
to visit Jensen's for any future repairs.

Bob and his guys are the greatest. They give advice
freely and look for ways to save time and money. I've had
them work on my Volvo for 14 years and would think of
taking it anywhere else.

I am a "Biased Customer" because we began taking our cars to Jensen's when
Jensen still owned it. We have never had a problem in those 20-25 years with
Bob David. I am a fan and recommend this shop to anyone who has a car they
service. We still have our 1982 245 Volvo. When Bob could not get parts for it
he "jerry rigged" it to work since it is now our second car and only goes about
4-5 miles a day (and, he did not charge a lot to do it even after searching the
country for a part). We had a 1987 Accord they maintained until was too
expensive to keep (Bob told us that, too). He is now taking care of our 2002
Camry. I hope he and Mary do not decide to retire any time soon.

These folks are the best! I bought my '96 Volvo second
hand with 95,000 miles on it. I took it to a mechanic (in
Sunnyvale) recommended by a coworker to get the 100,000
mile servicing done. That mechanic kept the car for
months. The price kept going up but the car was in pieces
and just never seemed to be ready. I found the excellent
reviews here and took the car to Jensens. 6 years later,
now with 150,000 miles on it, Jensens still never ceases to
amaze me at how quickly they diagnose and fix problems.
They know about all the nuances of these cars and keep them
running. Wish the Volvo was as reliable as Bob & Mary!
