I've been taking my car to Ron since he took over the shop
from JP Chand, and I took it to JP for years before. It's
rare to find a merchant whom you can trust enough to say
fix it...what ever it takes, and you won't get screwed. If
Ron feels something is needed, I don't second guess or get
a second opinion, because if it's not needed, he'll tell me
that too. I've taken 5 different cars to him over the years
and never had issues with any repair he did. He keeps great
records and is willing to give me copies of all the repairs
when it's time to sell my car. I don't go anywhere else!

I just went to these guys for the first time - Ron and
Brian. Very good service at a reasonable price. They
fixed the problem, checked all the fluids and put air in
the spare. And made a couple recommendations (could use a
tune up) without trying to sell me a bunch of stuff.

I was a legacy client whom Ron Jacoby, owner and chief
mechanic, inherited when he purchased the business. The
previous owner/mechanic was an impeccable professional
whom I knew would sell only to another professional who
met his same high standards. I was not disappointed! Ron
Jacoby has met and exceeded my expectations of what makes
an outstanding mechanic: honest, state of the art
knowledge, customer oriented, and possessed of the highest
professional integrity. I recommend him regularly to
friends and co-workers. They are all thrilled and
pleasantly shocked to meet a mechanic who lives up to his
fine and well deserved reputation for automotive
excellence and customer service.

WE have 4 cars and Ron has done a great job with all of
them. He'll let you know if you have to fix something
right away or if you can wait a while. I've never had to
take a car back because it wasn't fixed the first time.
I've been especially impressed with his work on my Honda
hybrid. What a mistake it was to take it to the dealer!
Ron charges less than half what they do for routine
maintenance, he answers the phone on the first ring and he
doesn't talk down to me because I'm a woman. I am SO happy
to have found this shop!

Just visited Ron recently for an oil change. I go to him
instead of the oil change outfits because I know he will
not only change the oil but check fluid levels, check
tires, and, if anything is seriously amiss, he will bring
it to my attention. For example, he told me I will need to
think about new tires, not right away, but before rainy
season and winter begins. This kind of heads-up allows me
not only to budget but is a safety issue I would not
necessarily notice. Great knowledgeable customer service
and integrity rolled into one!

The car had an intermittent electrical problem and they were
able to fix it even though an overly "conscientious" (NO
CONNECTION TO THE SHOP) tow truck driver had insisted on
"fixing it" himself over my strong objections.
Unfortunately, the car wasn't in the "down-state" that was
necessary to trouble-shoot the problem. Still, this shop was
super at going the extra mile to get it to repeat the
intermittent problem. They did a great job fixing it.

I personally heard rave reviews about this place from a few
people, so I had to check it out. Most impressive comment
was that Ron gets referrals from the dealership mechanics
when they cannot fix something, because he will get to the
bottom of it. I talked to the owner when I brought my car
for the oil change to start and was impressed how passionate
he is about his business. I was very pleased with customer
service: Henry, his associate, greeted me at the door by
name (I called to get a quote and make an appointment)
because he recognized the car. Genuinely nice people. I know
I am not going to be just a number here... It makes you
feel good to support a business like this. I will definitely
come back!

There are hundreds of auto repair shops in my town but for years I have been driving 35 miles to have my 1998 Dodge Caravan and 2008 Toyota Highlander Hybrid serviced by Ron and his team. They are consummate professionals. It's so refreshing to do business with an enterprise that you can really trust to do the work well and do it right the first time (and who treat this 60 year old woman with respect).
