I take both cars in my family to Independence Acura.
Vladmir and team have been great at servicing both my 99TL
and my 99 Lexus RX300.
Vladmir always explains the best options for us and
recommends the appropriate service - unlike the dealers who
tend to recommend services I haven't needed.
They are also very prompt and quick with the return of the cars.

Independence Acura has a new owner - Vladimir. I had taken my Integra to Tesh several times before and had been pretty happy with the results, and now I was worried that I'd have to go looking for a new mechanic. But I must say that Vladimir is even better than Tesh! He was patient, explaining to me the problems he found during the 120k service in as much detail as I wanted and showing me the parts he replaced. He even fixed a minor problem at no charge. Best of all, not a trace of male chauvinism or condescension. (Tesh, unfortunately, did not rate real high in my book on treatment of female customers, though he did good work.)

I've been taking a Toyota and a Honda to this shop for the
past two years and have been extremely satisfied with their
work. They will repair rather that replace if possible and
they do the job more competently and quickly than the local
dealers.

I know I am a very satisfied customer because I always
recommend Vladimir and Independence Acura to everyone. Not
only has he done all the maintenance on my 94 Civic, I have
taken my 88 Lotus there too. I usually don't trust anyone
else to work on my cars but after the care and reasonable
repairs I cannot afford not to.
Just like another reviewer stated, Vladimir always fixes my
car the right way and his trouble shooting either agrees
with mine or he is right. I really feel fortunate for
trying them for an oil change 6 years ago.
Independence Acura has worked on my coworkers' Toyotos,
Nissans, and a Chrysler Grand Voyager. All have been
satisfied too. I am always impressed by the fair and
honest work performed and the dealings my coworkers
receive.

Great experience. I take both my cars here ( acura and
lexus ) and have always been able to get in promptly and
have the cars return on-time.

Exactly what you'd hope for in a mechanic. Honest, to the
point, fix the problem, charge a reasonable price, do it
right the first time (and stand by the work if it isn't
done right). Took two cars in for brake jobs and both
have turned out great.

I came to Vlad after some poor experiences with another
shop, which shall go nameless, that is very close to his.
The final straw was the other folks misdiagnosed my problem
and convinced me to replace a perfectly fine distributer
when the problem was an over-heating fuel pump relay. Vlad
knows Hondas and replaced the pump after having me take good
notes to correctly pin it down. Vlad and his staff are
always responsive and continue to great work: tune-ups, CV
boots, and little problems too. My Accord now has over
140K, runs great, no it's not for sale, and is getting 32-34
MPG on trips at 75+ crusing.

Following Car Talk advice for buying a used car, I had
Vladimir inspect a 2004 Honda Civic that
otherwise "appeared" fine. After Vladimir carefully
inspected the car with Sergei (who is the body expert and
very thorough; ask for Sergei), it was clear that the body
had repairs otherwise not noted. And, it was a Certified
Honda used car.
I was saved from buying a car that had issues. Having a
used car inspected independently is a must!
