Dave is kind of a goof. He is a good mechanic with a great staff. They are always courteous and helpful. I have taken my car and my wifes car to Heinechens for years. He is not the cheapest mechanic but I figure you get what you pay for. Dave and Doug are great!

They are extremely honest and very fair. The last time I took my 1988 Toyota Cressida in for sort of "general upkeep", Doug called me on the phone and said, "We changed your oil, but we're not going to charge you anything because Dave feels sorry for you. I don't mean to insult you personally, but your car is a $%&!box -- don't put anymore money into it." It was great advice -- the car is toast in so many different ways. I've only put gas and oil into it (in equal measure) and yet somehow five months on, the car is still running.

This shop consistently performs competent, prompt and reasonably priced service. They are diligent about furnishing relevant information, and will never perform unnecessary work. All mechanics I have had contact with are courteous and friendly. The are only open Monday through Thursday.

Good job, very honest, screwed up once and fixed problem immediately. Very respectful and explained all issues well to both me and my husband, neither of whom knows diddly-squat about cars. I felt we were being told the truth, and we paid a reasonable amount. Often, they were less expensive than the Toyota dealer and were certainly more trustworthy.

These guys are fantastic. I have an old Subaru and they are very straightforward about what I do and don't need to put into it. I trust them completely and am willing to pay a little more for their services. Dave is a cool guy and drives a cruiser bike to work.

I took my (3 year old) Nissan in for a brake job and they insisted that I have to replace the rotors and that they would not just turn them. If they just turned the rotors, they wouldn't guarentee their work. I went ahead and replaced, but they didn't bleed the brake line, so I had to go back to them. kind of dissappointed. VERY expensive.
