They are great, but have just moved to an inconvenient
location for me, far away from the downtown business area
where I work. I will be interested in what kind of
hardship this will be for me, because they do great work
and I will miss them if I have to change mechanics. They
also service Toyotas, which is a relief because I don't
own a Honda. So I will post again after I have tried
their new location.

All the people at Pat's are terriffic including the female mechanics. My father owns and runs his own repair shop on the East coast and I know what quality is, this is it for Honda's!

After I moved to Los Angeles, I still drove my 95 Civic up
to San Francisco for tune-ups here.

Found Pat's Garage thr4ough someone who also went there.
No regrets. Even though I don't know anything about cars
except how to fill the gas tank and pay for repairs, I feel
totally confident in the honesty of this shop. They are a
small, minimal staff turnaround company that cares.

Great people and great work!

After searching on your site, I called them up to see about some brake work before a cross-country drive. The woman on the phone was helpful and asked more questions before answering mine. In my brief dealings with them, they displayed the first sign of an honest (I can't vouch for their work yet) mechanic: they turned me away. She told me that, even though she's generally conservative when it comes to brakes, it didn't sound like I needed work done.

I've been using them since 2001 when I found them in the
Mechan-X files. Never been disappointed. Tried a few
others because of cheaper coupons or specials but never
felt the same competance or professionalism. I'm staying
there from now on.
