HonTech is a highly organized, very professional, respectful, friendly shop. With any general work that needs to be done, like replacing timing belts or whatever, they whip out one of their impressive notebooks compiling explanations of service required, schematics of where the problem is, breakdown of costs, parts needed, etc... They personally take you wherever you need to go after you drop off your car and will pick you up... They shake your hand -- before they do the work... They have a team of 7 or so technicians, so they always complete the work in a timely manner... In general, they leave one with very little room for anything but complete trust... I highly recommend HonTech Automotive, Inc.

This shop only works on Hondas and Acuras. My first car was an Accord and I was so impressed that I replaced it with another Accord. Their prices are somewhat high, but they do warranty their work and use Honda parts.

these guys are cool. their shop is new. they are sans attitude, straight shooting, answer questions and seem genuinely interested in mechanics before loot. it always helps if you come equipped with a bit of knowledge of your problem though, no matter where. Honda is the specialty.

Hontech has been around for umpteen years for a reason: They know Hondas and they keep their customers coming back through excellent service and unparalleled knowledge in their chosen niche (Honda/Acura). Sure, they may seem a lot like a 'dealer'. Dave worked for Honda before going independent. All his techs are Honda-trained. They use Honda parts. Uhm, they fix HONDAS. I find them more personable, more accessible, more up-to-date on my cars, more responsive to individual concerns than ANY dealer ever was. I have taken my Hondas to them since my '77 Accord hatchback (remember those?). I'm preparing to buy my 4th Honda (after a brief foray into another make) and will enjoy being able to return to HONTECH for my automotive maintenance.

It's a pleasure doing business with HonTech. I really don't know how they compare, price-wise, with other mechanics, because I wouldn't consider taking my Acura Integra anywhere else. They do superb work and are extremely courteous. They will give you a ride to work and pick you up, free of charge, while they work on your car. On one occasion, when they didn't finish the repair on my car in time, they paid for a rental car. They value customer service very highly.

I lived in San Diego for two and a half years. The shop was located within walking distance from my house, which was great. Let me put it this simple - if you own a Honda and live in San Diego - you'd be silly to take it anywhere else. Those guys there are awesome. I took my Honda to the dealership once and totally got jerked around. I asked around and found out about this palce. In fact, since I have moved - I have still called with questions just to make sure my current shop is being honest. I miss them and so does my Honda - I wish they were in Denver.

I have known Dave since 1976 and we have had several Hondas, and other cars as well. When we have not had a Honda to take to Dave, we have had to go through many different mechanics and have been ripped off and disatisfied with the repair work many times. We bought a Honda again 4 years ago and were very happy to be able to go back to Hontech and Dave. He is a hard working, honest man who has built his business up since he was in his early 20s. I have referred many friends to him and no one has ever been unhappy with the work and the friendliness of the shop.
