I took my car to one BMW shop because my AC was not working right and explained that the car had a history of AC issues. They "fixed" it and charged me a tidy sum and asked that I bring it back later after they put in some dye. At that point they looked at it again and said it needed a $1500 repair. NO Thanks, I said. I took it to Alex in Rancho and they resolved the AC completely the first time and charged me 1/3 of the price adn it's been working right for over a year. I've been to every BMW shop in Sacramento and Roseville and these guys are the best, hands down.

During the course of a tricky repair on my 99 M Roadster, they displayed complete integrity when they could easily have done otherwise. Also, the technical competence, pricing, and customer relations are excellent. They happily gave me a ride to the nearest rental car agency and got me their discount rate. Highly recommended.

I have been taking my heavily track prepared Imola Red 98 M Roadster with Swingset to Valley Motorwerks for the past several years. Walter Ford and his excellent staff have done a fantastic job of keeping me running on track and adding new modifications as my wallet permits. I always get the benefit of their racing experience when it comes to deciding what should be done to the car. Yet, they never push a modification but rather provide honest comments on the pros/cons of doing a particular modification when I ask about it. They have also done excellent work on my 97 328i street car. You couldn't put your BMW in more capable hands.

As a woman I am not very trusting of auto repair shops. Walter and his staff were courteous and straightforward and did not talk "down" to me. Not only that, I saved almost 40% over the dealership for the same repair using the same parts. I would recommend them to anyone looking to get their BMW repaired.

Proceed with caution! Double check your vehicle to make sure your repair is done correctly. I went to another shop with my E53 for a repair and they showed me my fan shroud was installed UPSIDE down and was damaged. My fan shroud was last removed at Valley Motorwerks. I had to go as far as BAR for mediation of a refund for my damaged fan shroud of just $58.01 from Walter.
