I found Mitch's auto 9 years ago. He has worked on my Saab, Toyota and now BMW. I honestly would not have even purchased a BMW if he was not my mechanic. He is always reasonably priced and fixed my car the same day. My family, friends and co-workers all now go to him. He is busy, so be sure to make an appointment. He is so honest and helpful. Nice, clean location and great staff. A great mechanic is hard to find - Mitch's Auto is definitelty that.

AT ANOTHER SHOP, I GOT, WHAT I LATER FOUND TO BE AN OUTRAGEOUS AND INACCURATE QUOTE FOR BRAKE REPAIR. I WAS TOLD I NEEDED FRONT AND BACK BRAKES AND ROTORS FOR $600. I FOUND MITCH AND MITCH'S AUTO ON THIS SITE AND TOOK MY TOYOTA COROLLA IN FOR BRAKES. I TRIED MITCH FOR A QUOTE AND FOUND OUT NOT ONLY DID I NOT NEED NEW BRAKES AND ROTORS BUT ONLY NEEDED THE PADS FOR THE FRONT. HE SHOWED ME THE BACK AND TOLD ME THE % OF WEAR I HAD LEFT. I COULD GO ANOTHER 30,000 MILES! THIS COST ME $100, AND THEY OFFERED A DETAILING SERVICE. SO FOR ANOTHER $40, I DID THAT TOO. I WILL NEVER TRUST ANYONE ELSE, BECAUSE THEY ARE CON ARTISTS! ASK FOR MITCH OR HIS RECEPTIONIST JENNY. THEY WILL HELP YOU AND BE HONEST.

Strongly recommend Mitch's shop!!! I read the favorable review's of Mitch's shop in Pasadena on Cartalk.com and took my BMW there to have a couple of issues addressed with my car. Mitch was able to fix the problems very quickly (less than one hour). The most remarkable part of this story isn't the fact that Mitch asked for no money when I asked him how much I owe him. The most remarkable thing was that Mitch was HONEST with me and did not make up some unnecessary repairs for my vehicle; just to make some money. In the past, I've left mechanic shops (including certified dealer shops) feeling like I was just 'taken'. But Mitch has exemplified honesty that I have been waiting for, for a long time! I would not hesitate to take my vehicles to him in the future.

Mitch is terrific, and I completely trust him. Being a female who knows NOTHING about cars can be scary, but Mitch has always been nothing but honest. Even though I no longer live close to the shop, I'll still come here!

We went to Mitch's based on good reviews on the Car Talk Mechanics Files site. We went in for a basic tune-up--oil change, tire rotation and air conditioning maintenance--on our 2010 car with just over 50,000 miles on it. The receptionist told us, however, that we needed two new rear shocks. When we went to discuss this further and to look at the shocks (which have never shown any sign of wear), we were told we also needed new four tires. No mechanic at any point talked to us. Only the receptionist, who even took us to the car and asked us to run our hand over the tires (which are fine) to demonstrate that they needed to be replaced. Not only am I quite sure my back shocks and struts are fine, I know that I do not need four new tires. I wouldn't have been quite so offended if at any point a mechanic deigned to have a conversation with us. I will not return to this place.
