Both John and Jim are very competent mechanics. They stand behind their work and have never charged more than one would expect for the work that they do. If they promise you your car by a certain time they will stay over to get it to you when promised.

I've been taking my 88 Honda Prelude to this guy for over 5 or maybe 10 years. I've always been satisfied with the work and the price. I've tried other shops at the recommendation of others, but I've always come back to Johnny's. He treats women and the elderly well and fairly. He has refused to do work that other shops recommended, but which I found suspicious. Also, if you need or want an older mechanic this guy has plenty of grey hair.

Johnny was informative when I asked him questions. I honor that I came in to change my brakes, and he said they were fine and did not need to be changed. I came in because they were squealing, However, he wasn't able to fix the slight noise. I did observe within a matter of 20 minutes, 5-7 different vehicles stop by for service. It appears that it's just him and another guy working there. He has a small place, and both days I stopped by, his lot was filled with at least 5 vehicles. The shop appears clean, and organized. I was charged $48 for an oil change, oil filter, and labor. I dropped off my car around 9 am and received a call from him around 4pm.

Johnny is very honest. Had a problem with my headlights. He spent much time and could not find the problem. He referred me to a local electric shop that fixed the problem. Johnny would not charge me for the considerable time that he spent. He seemed pretty sharp and methodical in diagnosing and repairing a problem with my engine not running correctly. Doesn't get much better than that !!!!
