Buyer be ware! I had my prius towed to this shop, which is located 15 miles from my home, because they offered to do a free inspection and let me know if the car was worth fixing. They gave me a list of about 3k worth of work that needed done to make it operational and another 2-3k that should be done at a later time. Luckily my battery was still under warranty so I had it replaced and then authorized Chris to do the other $900 worth of work. AFTER I paid for the work to be done, they let me know that because the battery had been dead the recommended repairs were just a list of everything that is typically needed for Prius' I was shocked. I went home and dug out all of the receipts for every repair I'd had done on the vehicle and found that the water pump they replaced had ALREADY BEEN REPLACED 9 MONTHS EARLIER AND WAS NOT NECESSARY!!!!!!! I then found 2 other items on the recommended list that were also already done. What kind of shop does this?! It would have been different if they had disclosed that information BEFORE doing the repairs. It is really hard to know who you can trust in the automotive business, and sadly, guys like this give the honorable shops a bad name.
