Great mechanics. You can trust them not to do unnecessary
work, to know what they are doing and to charge a fair
price. Great customer service!

Some years back I brought in my Toyota Tercel which needed a head gasket repair. Their mechanic must have omitted the air filter and apparently placed the hardware inside the carb. On the way home the hardware fell into the engine and the car abruptly stopped! This severely damaged the the pistons causing excessive oil consumption which I discovered on the way from Oakland to LA when the dipstick came up empty! (note: I had told them that the car seemed to be using oil around town but he dismissed my concerns without checking anything). It took a case of oil to get to and from LA., 1 qt every 50 miles. Marty's Metrix offered to redo the job over at FULL cost, no discount for the screw up. TRUE STORY. They managed to turn my low mileage economy car into a money pit which never, ever worked reliably again. Thanks Marty! Worst. Mechanic. EVER.
