We've now taken our two cars there, a 91 Honda Civic and a 93 Toyota Camry
and they repaired the breaks on the Honda and diagnosed what was a bad
distributor on the Toyota. Both times they showed us the bad parts and
explained to us (both me and my husband) what had gone wrong. It's not a
good neighborhood, so if you are a woman by yourself, I'd say get someone to
pick you up or drop you off as the walk to the bus isn't the nicest. But other
than that, it's great!

Rick (the owner, I think) is very straightforward and
reasonable. He explained everything about what my car
needed (a fuel pump) and replaced it fast for a very
reasonable price. great experience. I watched him do all
the work on my car, and happy to say he did a great job with
a nice attention to detail.

They won my business when they agreed to install the PITA
driver's side header into my 79 F250 after I got 1/2 way
through myself before realizing it required removal of the
master brake cylinder and power steering components at
least. And no attitude either, they just took over and did
good work. Then they solved an ignition problem that had
escaped a large, reputable, fancy-pants shop.
After that they got the service tasks for our old BMW's (old
and older) and have done service of the same quality as the
high-end BMW repair place with floors clean enough to eat
off of at about 1/3 the cost that we used to use.
