I have a 1984 Bertone X 1/9 and Larry has kept it going
since I bought it in 1996. He has rebuilt the transmission
(sourcing and re-manufactoring it from what parts he could
source). He is an artisan and very well trained, taking
time to explain things to what ever extent you desire. He
collects other exotics in his shop (Lancia, Alfa Romeo,
Ferrari, MV Agusta, Masaerati... etc) and specializes in
older cars.. and is factory trained in Alfa Romeos and Ferraris.
vroom vroom! fun cars.

Have used this shop on various occasions over the years, and have found that on ALL occasions, there are missing screws, finger loose bolts and other items that have been forgotten. Some of these overlooked bolts have had the capacity for great harm or dangerous driving conditions. All work must be reviewed by others before a satisfactory tight outcome can be delivered. Also, he has inflated invoices that have occurred due to negligent or intended addition errors on the bills. Greatly unacceptable. His mind is elsewhere, usually thinking of the "green" stuff always on his workbench. Sad, as he had potential some year ago.
