Doug worked for East Bay BMW in Pleasanton, CA for twelve years. He opened up his shop a little over one year ago and I trust him to work on my 1971 2002 and our 1987 528e. From his experience at East Bay he is able to quickly diagnose problems with my cars that other mechanics have only been able to guess at...he is young, hungry, and working hard to build his business. I also like the fact that his business is small enough that I can go into the garage and ask him questions about my cars and we don't have the counter between us...a nice causual atmosphere...just the guys in the garage talkin cars.

Doug is just flat out excellent !! I wouldn't take my car to any one else. Honest, quick and fair. No collection of half fixed cars in the lot, His labor rates are very fair for the quality of work performed. My only complaint is the price of BMW parts, but this is not something one can do much about. Doug will frequently recommend BMW equivalent OEM parts when available and backs them up with warranty.

One Mechanic Shop (Brad Wagner). My first time there, but I won't take my BMW anywhere else now. On time, fair, honest, the most able mechanic I've ever found. He solved a problem I've had for three year. In that time the car ('93 525) had been to 2 dealers and one specialty shop at great expense but without success. At the specialty shop I had to leave the car for 10 days. Brad looked at my car in his parking lot, told me what he thought was wrong and how much it would cost to fix. Have been taking my BMW's to Doug for 10 years, I trust him completely to tell me the truth. He will say whether what you need should be done now or can wait. Although I have lived 1.5 hrs away from Modesto for the past 7 years I'd rather make a trip to Doug's shop than trust it to anyone else, he's that good and honest!
