This shop is my fathers "go to" shop, so I decided to give them a try. First off is that they are SLOW! 18 days for ball joints and a power steering pump. At first, I was a bit annoyed with the time but was happy to be getting my car back and road worthy. When I got to the shop and reviewed the bill I noticed that they included a new Everstart battery for $200. Strange.. I bought a new battery about 6 months ago. When I asked the owner and shop manager about it, they told me "Oh yes! it wasn't holding a charge so we decided to add that in." I told them I never asked for a battery and they told me the old was already gone. When I told them I'm not paying for a new battery it caught him off guard thinking I'm as gullible as my father. HE told me that they had already disposed of the battery. I told them that I will NOT pay for it and that it was their problem. He quickly stumbled into the back saying he will check for it and but "it's probably gone." moments later he came back with the old battery. I paid for my stuff and had my old battery switched back in. NEVER AGAIN. It's been about a year and my battery is holding up fine. The power steering pump leaks but I don't want to deal with them again.
