Besides being very reasonably priced, and honest, I appreciate that they never do more work than is necessary. They are very accommodating in all requests for assistance with transportation arrangements, and finding other reputable people for work that needs to be subbed out. Generally, I wish I could be so positive about more people that I do businees with.

The shop is run by a father and 2 sons, and they are the
most honest mechanics I have ever met. But rather than tell
you how great they are, I'll tell you a story:
I have a 1997 Honda Civic, which runs great. One time, the
check engine light went on. The dealer would charge $60
just to diagnose the problem. But I brought it there, and
they plugged the computer in and discovered that the oxygen
sensor was bad. They didn't have the part in stock, so they
ordered it from the dealer down the street. While I was
waiting for the part, I called the dealer, who wanted $215
for the part (plus labor the put it in). When I went to go
get the car, Jeff (the father) showed me the receipt for the
part. The dealer charged him $171 for it, and he asked me
for $180 TOTAL. I was amazed that he was going to make less
than $10 on this, and started to argue with him that he
wasn't charging me enough. He countered that it took him
less than 5 minutes to diagnose, and about the same to swap
the sensor. In the end, I convinced him to charge me $200
because he had to pay the credit card fee. Never in my life
did I think I'd be asking a mechanic to charge me MORE, and
now I won't take my car anywhere else...
Treat them well, and they'll return the favor.

These guys are all the reviewers say: honest, helpful, willing to take the extra
time to explain the problem, and to do do things in the order they need to be
done and not before.

Airport Motors is the best place to take your car for
repair. They treat you with respect (even if you are a
woman), never fix anything that doesn't need fixing and are
honest and trustworthy. Their main concern is safety and
they will tell you, "It sounds funny, but it's safe, so it's
up to you to decide if the noise bothers you enough to pay
to fix it". I have been going to them for years and have
found them to be the best I've ever experienced. I could NOT
ask for more. I recommend them highly without hesitation.

I found these guys through this Mechnics Files and have been
absolutely delighted with them. They are honest, competent,
and friendly. They have always got me in on short notice (I
don't think I've ever had to wait more than a day or two).
One of the best things about them is they're
conservative--they're up front about only fixing what NEEDS
to be fixed, but of course if you want more done they'll
probably be happy to do it for you. Can't recommend them
highly enough.

Hundreds of miles from home and a head gasket blew. Not only
was I able to get up and running, I did so at a fraction of
what anyone else down there wanted to charge me. My only
regret is that I live so far away and I can't have every
problem dealt with by this mechanic!

They did a great job fixing my car and they had it ready the
same day at a reasonable price. I plan to go back to them
for future service.
