The whole shop is staffed with outstanding mechanics. The shop is especially good at the diagnosis and treatment of advanced engine performance and fuel management issues. The two lead mechanics are highly sought after by other businesses as well as the State Bureau of Automotive Repair because of their unusually competent training and automotive repair prowess. One of them is even a former State Smog Referee. Excellent shop and down to earth service and pricing. Hard to beat in any town. Bravo!

One of the mechanics is female with many degrees in electronic problem tracing. Another is very familiar with brake and front end problems. Steve, instead of going ahead and replacing a master cylinder, as I thought was best, phoned around and determined that my problem was probably with the booster. He was correct. They all formerly worked as the top mechanics for a large department store automotive store and went out on their own. Very easy to talk to. Very honest in all their dealings with all types of customers. Highly recommended.

I took my wife's car in for repairs with an obvious brake problem -- screaming metal to metal noise from the left front. The car was new to us, so I asked the mechanic to do all 4 brakes if necessary and look it over for other potential problems and give it a tune-up if it needed one. He did the front brakes only (the rears were fine he told me), replaced the air and fuel filters, and changed the oil. It didn't need a tune-up. I was very impressed that he did only the needed work on the car and didn't make any effort to run up the bill with unnecessary work. Much cheaper than a dealer, very competant, friendly and a clean shop. As Arnold Schwartzenegger says, "I'll be back." I found this mechanic using your web site. Thanks for providing this service.

Faxed a list of items I needed fixed to several shops for estimates. They were the only ones who responded, and they responded quickly. Work was done in a timely manner. Several items I thought needed to be repaired were fine, and they didn't charge me for checking them out. They did find a bad belt, and they called me and got my OK before it was replaced. I would return here for future work.

They fit us in the same Saturday we called, and diagnosed and replaced the part within 45 min. (it was a pretty straight forward repair... the idler pully was coming apart and hitting the fan) They replaced the pulley and belt in less than 1/2 hour, and had us back on our way, at a fair price. The staff was straight forward and kind. I would not hesitate to use this shop again. They are closed Mondays, but open until 3 on Saturdays.

I had the starter go out on my truck. After checking this website, I called All-Tech and they were able to get me in the same day. They had the new starter in that afternoon and the truck was fixed in just a few hours. I had a holiday party that afternoon and they were able to make arrangements so that I could pick the truck up that evening. They were very professional, courteous, and accomodating. I would definitely recommend them to others and will use them again if the need arises.

My Toyota had a large leak in the radiator at the top, and I had to get it towed. AAA recommended a shop, but when the tow company arrived, they recommended All-Tech. I'd heard of them before from Sears Automotive. They were quick and replaced the radiator the next day as they didn't have it in stock. Very helpful and courteous.

I went to this shop based on the input that I had read and I also assumed that the shops would not be listed if someone from CarTalk had not had some knowledge of the facility. What I have come to realize is that this list is based on a customer's experience. Having said that, I must say the person I spoke with was very friendly, curteous and professional(Suzanne). I can only presume the service is great. I had a CO2 sensor replaced on my Mazda Miata, the one near the catalytic converter. I made mentioned that some shops were wavering the cost of the diagnostic test, if they did the repair work, that did not seem to matter. Hoping to establish a relationship with what may be a good repair shop, I agreed to have them do the work. My bill, with the diagnostic test ($99.00), came to a little over $489.00. I asked about getting my timing belt replaced and with the replacement of the belt, water pump I was quoted a price of approximately $650.00 and a reccommended radiator flush for a little over $100.00. This may be a great shop but I will not return. I know that labor, in California, isn't cheap, but at these prices, I may as well take my car to the dealer. E.T. posted 12.30.2010
