Saab Replay was recommended to me by a woman I saw driving
the same car I have--a 92 saab 900--saab owners ALWAYS
have mechanic information. Anyway, i took my car in for a
terrible noise--turns out I lost some shims and needed an
alignment--Saab Replay actually recommended an alignment
place that did an excellent job at a more than decent
price (Auto Options in Berkeley). Then I scheduled a tune
up and that seemed to go well too--the car drives nice,
the mechanics warned me that I may need a replacement
catalytic converter in a year, recommended a major service
(including listing exactly what that would entail) in the
relatively near future and gave me a computer printed,
itemized invoice. They appear to really like my car too
and that is important because the owning and maintaining
of a Saab is rarely a rational decision. It is good to
have people of a similar mind set working on your car. :)

I have an '88 SPG. Old SAAB's have special needs and I
need a SAAB guru I can rely on to have that rare, coveted
component when the time comes. I recently brought the car
in for an estimate on a broken front signal cluster. They
had the unit and replaced the broken one while I waited
(about 7 minutes!) I truly felt I was being spoiled.
