Pat's Auto Service is attached to a gas station at MLK and Hearst. The place is more reputable than it appears at first glance. Pat is extraordinarily helpful and much cheaper than anybody else I could find. The clutch in my compressor went out, and Pat was cheaper than any other mechanic I could find by about $500. I will definitely return to him for my future repair and maintenance work.

Pat is a young professional mechanic who takes pride in his work. I do some work on my car and let Pat do the more technical stuff and the oil changes. His prices are very fair; he's friendly, honest and explains what he does (maybe because I ask). Try an oil change to see if you like him, it's only $20 and he'll do it in 25 minutes and you can walk through Ohlone Park while you wait. I highly recommend Pat's.

My wife and I are very pleased with Pat. He is knowledgable, friendly and gets the work done on time. His costs are reasonable and I am very pleased with his service. I highly recommend him.

I wanted to write in to commend Pat's honesty. I recently had a Honda Dealership tell me I needed $3200 worth of repairs on my 2004 Civic (47K Miles). I took it to Pat's for a second opinion. A little over an hour later I got a call back in which I was told that NONE of the work really needed to be done. I am definitely going back to Pat for routine maintenance and if anything really needs fixing.
