Best experience I've ever had at a mechanic and I grew up with mechanics! They are honeset and friendly, they describe exactly what need to be done now and what can be done later or what may be purly optional work. Tney may not be the cheapeset, but they are very fair and I think for the service and peice of mind they provide, a great value! I Love arts!

These guys are good. I have a Mazda Protégé the car had a noise in one of the front tires, they discover that the tire was bad and need it to be change, nothing wrong with the suspension Great service They are professional I highly recommend the place

Always polite. Always a little too busy, but take time to fix problems when they can. Excellent explanations. Honest. When they installed new battery had problems with windows opening properly. They called and found out how it should be handled, then told me how to fix problem over the phone. Saved us both time.

They demystify everything. I am so sick of places that give you the sad look when you describe car symptoms and just say they won't know until they've had the car for a while> even worse; they won't know for sure until they've changed out a few parts. Art's is completely the opposite. They actually ENGAGE in a conversation with the customer. They give a price range of possible senarios for what could be wrong with your car. Imagine that- being able to decide ahead of time, how far you want a mechanic to go before you even decide if you want to spend that much money to fix the car in the first place. Many times they have provided "do it yourself" feedback to me and my friends which has saved my the trouble and money of having to put my car in the shop. Telling me to remove and replace a ceramic relay switch for my friend's old toyota (before we towed it in) saved my buddie from having the car towed into the shop. And the best part of it all is that they treat all of their customers like intelligent human beings (I'm a woman), even though our explanations of how our vehicles are malfunctioning sound down right infantile.

One of the things I appreciate the most about Arts is that they distinguish between necessary repairs and minor repairs. They take the time to explain the required repairs, including why an unexpected problem has occurred. They also let you know when maintenance is necessary. For example, the receipt from my last tune-up mentioned that my brake pads were getting worn, and to get them checked after X number of miles. Generally, my brakes tend to last quite a while because a lot of the milage is generated on highways, and because of how I drive (I've only needed my brakes replaced once in 120,000 miles). Instead of just replacing the pads on my last visit, they checked them and found they didn't need replacement. While it sounds trivial, this has been SOP in my interactions with Arts over the past 8 years.
