The mechanics at Art's Automotive are great! They are thorough and respectful. They take time to explain what your car needs now and what it needs in the future. They tell it to you straight about your car and they do not force unnecessary repairs on customers. The office looks like a doctor's office in terms of cleanliness and order. They understand that many people are intimidated by car troubles so they take time to reassure customers.

my feeling is that finding an consistently honest and competent mechanic is something like finding the holy seems to be particularly fond of my car, it's a 1984 nissan maxima and he likes that it's the last of the rear wheel, straight six cars and says they don't build them like that anymore. the car hs 173,000 miles on it and he thinks it can go a lot longer. another thing i'd like to say about art's is that they are take extra care to keep prices down. they take good care of me and of my car and i give them highest marks. even since word has gotten around that they are the best, and they have become much busier, they still treat each of their customers with care and consideration.

I had an electrical problem that a local service station said was beyond ther'e expertise,my car wouldent turn over soon after i had a tune up at the sevice station mentioned earlier,i towed my car to arts from that service station .as soon as the tow truck dropped my car a mechanic greeted me ,looked under the hood and found a loose wire at my starter.he fixed my car with no cost to me,i later returned with a 12 pack of the finest lager.

I can't say enough good things about Art's Automotive. They fixed a really complex brake problem called "parallelism" in the front brakes, and also repaired the back brakes, instead of selling me new ones. They even documented the problem for the previous mechanic. They were awfully nice to me last week, as my wallet was stolen and I had no way to pay. Art was very positive and the staff was helpful to me too. Most important, they want to show you the problems with the car if it is complex. I am impressed with their attitude and a feeling of integrity and honesty.

Art's is the best repair shop I've encountered in the three states I've lived in! They're scrupulous, honest, and very thorough in desrcibing repairs. Every time I've been they've come in *under* their original estimate. Most importantly, they don't treat me like an idiot because I'm female. I know enough about cars to beable to wade through the bull, and the mechanics at Art's are always specific and knowledgable about the repair.
