Had my Miatra towed there in May when the Auto w/overdrive went out, the tow truck driver had nothing but praise about them, said they did all their trucks and they didnt have any problems. The tranny needed an overhaul, it was pretty shot. They fixed it in bout 5 days, three of those were waiting for parts. Got it back and everything worked great. Fast forward four months. I go out to put a new exhaust in the car and notice a rather large puddle of tranny fluid directly under the bellhousing. A couple days before I had noticed a couple drops and figured I'd run it by the shop on my day off for a looksee, now it couldnt wait. Took the car down and they took a look at it. The front pump was leaking and the car needed to stay to get repaired, but it was covered under warranty so it wouldnt cost. They took care of the problem right away. When I dropped it off on a Thursday they said it would probably be done Monday but they'd see if they could speed it up. Okay, I can live with that, but I really wanted to go to Tahoe for the weekend since it was going to be really nice. Well, Friday afternoon Bill calls and says the car is ready, AWESOME!! The car got fixed and my plans are still intact, thanks guys. All in all I like the service I got from Monroe. And after talking with other Auburnites ahve come to the conclusion that if I need more tranny work done these guys are the first on my list.

Have used them twice. Both times rather than recomend a complete rebuild (as another shop had done) They recommended small, inexpensive repairs which fixed the problems. The only transmission shop I will use

Years ago I took one of my trucks to another shop. They took it for a test drive and then told me that I needed a complete rebuild. I was suspicous, so I took it to Monroe (which was recommended by a friend). The mechanic decided to connect a hand vacuum pump to the vacuum advance before taking it on a test drive. There was leak in the vacuum advance which they replaced. I never had another problem with the transmission in that truck. All of the work on my vehicles is done by the dealer except all service on the transmissions is done my Monroe.

I am female and went to them because they were close when I had a problem I felt needed looking at immediately. I could not be happier with every aspect of this experience. I cannot comment on how they treat a screw up because I encountered none. I definitely will go to them for any transmission problems on any vehicle I have.
