After my car failed emssions they not only diagnosed and fixed the problem (catalytic converter) at a reasonable cost but got the vehicle retested for no extra charge. Strongly recommended.

I have had various cars (volvo, dodge, ford) repaired by this shop over the past four years and have always been happy with the quality and honesty of their work. They have always treated myself and my wife with respect, and they get the job done right the first time.

I have been taking my car to Autoplex Autoservice for 2 years. I always have felt that they did excellent work on my vehicle. I recently went to Sun Devil Auto on Ray Road to get my air conditioner serviced because had a big advertisement up for $19.95 for this service. I left my care there only to find out that they said I needed a new compressor, etc. for $1,100. I didn't feel right about this at all, so I immeditately took my car back to Autoplex. Lou checked it out and found that I did NOT need all of this work that Sun Devil Auto was saying I needed. It turned out that I just needed Freeon for my air conditioner. I ended up paying a fraction of the cost than the other place that was prepared to charge me for work that I clearly did not need. I am so thankful to have found Autoplex Auto service. They are completely honest and competent people. I will continue to tell all of my friends and family about them.

The owner and the other advisors all communicate with us as human beings. They never make us feel rushed or forced to make a repair.

I took my '96 Caravan in for a 90K service. They explained what they were going to do and gave me a good price. I told them I had an small oil leak that they traced to a oil pan gasket. I got a ride to my work and my car was ready early that afternoon. All in all, a good experience and I'd take my car back in the future.

Shop manager was very helpful. Work was done in pronto and the price was reasonable.

I found this shop here at Mechan-X Files, and given their strong rating, I decided to give them a shot. They performed every bit as well as the folks here said they would. Possibly not the cheapest around, but they're NOT affiliated with a chain. The owner has greeted me personally each time I've brought my truck in, and even remembers my name. And he doesn't even park his boat in the parking lot there. :-) Competent and trustworthy; a rare combination.

My significant other and i have been going to LOU's for many years. We know him to be a real boyscout,,,,and his staff of techs are great. Plus we tell each other great war stories. Recommend his shop to EVERYONE that asks for a honest, copenent shop.

Lou was awesome! I was amazed at his customer service and his honesty. He could've easily gotten me to spend another couple hundred dollars and told me, "If it was my car, I wouldn't get the new part!" He said my car would be perfectly fine without the extra part which I'll need fixed in the future but it wasn't necessary at the time. He was very thorough, showed me exactly what was wrong with my car and explained in great detail how and what caused my car to not function properly. Just listening to him talk on the phone was great, he treated everyone with respect and reminded me how great customer service can go a long way.

They are truly exceptional in diagnosing and explaining things, giving me whatever options I might have. The one time they installed a part that soon failed, they replaced the part at no charge (labor or parts).
