Nearby Jeep dealer wanted $1000 worth of work to solve overheating problem on my 2000 Grand Cherokee -cited leaks and bad hoses. Took it to Radiator King who solved the problem entirely with an $80 thermostat -found no leaks or bad hoses. Not only saved me $920 dollars but was a really helpful, polite, thoughtful guy. Low overhead, one man shop gives low prices and HONEST service. This guy deserves your business!

I had this car in another shop and they said it would be three days to get a radiator. This was Saturday AM. I got the car took it to Steve he stayed late Saturday and replaced the radiator for less money.

Steve is an excellent mechanic. He explained the problems with my radiator without making me feel like an idiot. He accurately diagnosed the problem, replaced the bad part, refilled my fluid level, changed my oil, and recommended a wheel alignment, in under 2 hours!! Not to mention this was all last minute on a Saturday! Thank you Steve!!

I took my car in for 3 repairs. 1 the radiator needed to be replaced. My front brakes were shot and I had an unknown problem, a large klunking sound, coming from my front left wheel when going over bumps or slow turns. He replaced the radiator and the front rotors and brake pads with all new parts. A day later, I had to return because the radiator was leaking. He was unable to diagnose the klunking sound so I took to another shop who diagnosed very quickly as a loose sway bar. Lastly, 3 months later, my brakes started grinding again. I took my car to a AAA certified shop for a free inspection; they said I needed new rotors and pads. I told them they were new, and they were shocked. Said the front rotors in their opinion were not new but possibly just resurfaced and the brake pads were a very low quality pad. I like the owner when I met him and felt I could trust him, but he was very difficult to reach by phone and left my car there for 4 days after he fixed the radiator leak the 2nd time resulting in my car receiving excessive hail damage from a storm. If my car was in my possession as it should have been after the first day, it would have been home and covered. I considered giving him another chance, but after the new opinion about the brakes, no way. Sorry. I question who wrote these other good comments, because he did ask me to give him a good comment on another consumer website. Glad I didn't.

Saturday afternoon I called the Radiator King. He arrived about 45 minutes later. He had a shop bring him a radiator and he replaced the unit in the parking lot. I was on the road about two and a half hours later.
