I have been going to Mike Vinson and his team for over ten years. Rob is Mike's Service manager who is excellent and John, Mikes son, makes this a great team. They follow Mikes lead by always being straight forward and honest and can do most repairs in one day. Any questions or problems are always resolved without any disagreements. I would recommend Mike to anyone in the area looking for a fair and honest mechanic. I own two GM cars so you can tell I need a good m

I have been taking my cars to Mikes for years and they are awesome!! Appointments are made within 1-2 days and all my repairs have been within the day. I have had my car break a belt on my way to work and it was towed to the shop. They were able to fix it right away AND because it was so close to Christmas they did not charge me!!! I have had them look at my brakes to see if they needed changing and they said not yet--WOW. These are just two of many experiences I have had with Mike and his crew. It is rare to find mechanics not out to take advantage of non mechanical people but this shop is honest as the day is long. I highly reccomend this shop.

I took my wife's Camaro to the Chevrolet dealership for an oil change and they told me that it needed a rear main seal. I think the price they quoted was about $600. I then went to see Mike and he said that with the low mileage that was on the car, he didn't think a seal would have gone. He said it was more likely the oil sender unit. About twenty dollars later, the Camaro was good as new. He has also saved me big bucks on numerous occasions with my old Ford Pickup.

First two times I took my Nissan Maxima in, for two different problems, they fixed the problems...at no charge. Once was to fix a problem caused by the brake shop who changed my brakes just two days before, and the other was to stop a racket made by my air conditioning fan (or motor or other related thingy). Both times I offered to pay, Mike said "Naw, we'll just see ya next time." His employees are the most professional and respectful of any we've dealt with. Four of our friends use Mike's Repair shop, and all have wonderful things to say. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Knowledgeable, skilled, reliable and honest. What more can you ask for in an automotive repair shop? Mike Vinson automotive was recommended to me by a friend. I am grateful for that recommendation because Mike and his team have kept my vehicles in great shape.

I moved to Scottsdale from the midwest and needed an honest and reliable mechanic. As a regular listener, I checked the Car Talk web site and chose Mike Vinson Automotive because they got great reviews and were located very close to our apartment. I've had several things done to my Taurus and my wife has had her Honda Civic Hybrid serviced here as well. We could not be happier with the service and the price is always a fraction of what we'd have paid at the Ford or Honda dealership. The folks here are friendly, patient and honest. This is the best all round mechanic I've ever been to.
