Hickey is located just east and 1 block south of the only Circle K in Sahuarita AZ, And the fact that they are not near any form of oublic transportation is only that there is none here. The owner is a man that will bend over backwards to make sure tiur vehicle is right the first time. Great service.

My first experience with Hickey was a rear transmission seal replacement on a '97 Chevy PU that had been hauling a trailer from Montana, in 2002. They got to the job the next day. When I brought the truck back home, and found drippings the next morning, they ordered another rear seal and replaced it the following day with apologies and no charge. In the eight years since then, they've worked on our Miata, 4Runner, another Chevy PU, and the "mom car"(Lincoln Town Car followed by a Cadillac), providing competent work at only slightly above average indie shop rates.

They are the best automotive repair shop we've ever used. I had a Nissan Sentra that was badly leaking oil and had nearly 100,000 miles on it. I asked them to repair it. They told me I needed a new car--that it wouldn't make sense to spend the amount of money that it would take to repair with that many miles on it. Talk about honesty. I had a bad tire and they would let me leave until I got a new one. It was dangerous--they showed me the hole in it. (I have a tendency to run over curbs when I turn.) They said I didn't need to buy from them--I could buy elsewhere, bring the tire to them and they would put it on. They are very active in the community and support many charities. It is an all- around great shop.

DON'T DO IT! I work across the street from the people, while at work i received a phone call from them asking me why my car was parked on the public street outside their business! I explained I worked close by, i asked them how they got my phone number the lady said they ran my plates! Are you serious! When i returned to my car i realized they broke into my car, my 5year olds medical records were spread out on the seat of my car! Again are you for real then the lady that works had the nerve to tell while standing in the way of my car door that i couldnt park on a public street i had to call the police to get her to back away from my car! I cant believe these people breaking in my car and going through my daughters private medical records! Think of how they treat your car when you drop it off!
